Design both faces, then download millimetre SVGs with a common carrier datum. Engrave both sides before cutting pieces free.

Preview outlines are guides. The engraving files contain no object-cut paths.

The ZIP contains carrier, front, rear and cutting SVGs, instructions, a reusable profile and any raster artwork. Choose laser/material settings in LightBurn and save your machine project as .lbrn2.
How to keep both sides aligned
- Cut the carrier rectangle to make square, repeatable side edges. Seat it against fixed side and top stops.
- Engrave the front, then turn the whole carrier in the selected direction and seat it against the same stops.
- Engrave the rear, then cut the inner features and finally the outer shapes using the rear-position cut file.
Keep the same job origin, physical carrier size and position. Keep the grey datum on a Tool layer with Output off. Check a sacrificial sample before a batch. Pre-cut blanks need a fitted jig that prevents rotation.
Photos, logos and LightBurn layers
PNG/JPG artwork stays an Image engraving. SVG text and shapes use Fill engraving, or Line engraving for outlined text. Holes, slits and outlines use Line cutting.
A bitmap does not define a cutting contour. Trace a logo in LightBurn if you need a vector outline, then check that it is a closed path. Upload simple SVG paths/shapes; convert text to paths and expand clones/filters first.
All text uses bundled font outlines. Latin letters, numbers, Latin-1 accents and common punctuation are supported. SVG artwork colours become a single engraving colour. Artwork is processed in this browser; the saved profile and exported files contain it.
